Description: Hudsons Old Home Days is one of the largest Old Home Days of its kind. We are located across from Alvirne High School on Route 102 in Hudson, New Hampshire. The event is set up on the hay fields to the left of the Alvirne Hills House. This house was the summer home of Alvirnes benefactor, Dr. Alfred Hills. Tours of the house are on going throughout the weekend. This is the third year Fiesta Shows will be providing the carnival entertainment. In addition to the carnival rides and games, Saturday night features a big fireworks display. Each night, there is live entertainment under the entertainment tent (also the perfect place to sit, eat, and socialize). And if thats not enough, local fire and police do a variety of demonstrations during the weekend. Food vendors will fill your stomach and vendors offer a variety of goods for sale.
Admission is FREE! Parking for patrons is a small donation. Due to the free admission, it is impossible to accurately determine how many people visit this event. We can surmise based on the number of vehicles parked; however, this is quite inaccurate since poeple walk over, park on side streets, etc. Potentially there is anywhere between 3,000 -8,000 plus over the course of the entire 4 days, depending on the weather.
