Description:

From Blueberry Fest Website:

Its true, Attitash means blueberry in the Abenaki language, and what better time of the year than August, when there are plenty of blueberries for picking, to celebrate summer at Attitash Mountain Resort. Join us at Attitash for a family-friendly festival of good ol fashioned American fun with live music, BBQ food, Craft Fair, cornhole tournament, a blueberry pie baking contest and, of course, a blueberry pie-eating contest. The Dean Machine will be joining us for live music entertainment from 3-6 p.m.

Free admission includes access to the Craft Fair and live music plus it includes free participation in all games and contests (limited number of spots available for pie eating contest). Use of Attitash summer attractions is a separate charge. Event ends at 6 p.m.

3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - As part of the Mountainside Music Series come see a FREE LIVE performance by The Dean Machine. The Dean Machine is a regular around the Mount Washington Valley, seen at The Red Parka Pub and Steakhouse, McGraths Tavern, Attitash, as well as other entertainment hot spots throughout New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. The Valleys own very popular rock and blues band, starring Jeremy Dean (guitar), Kenny Oakes (bass), and Thadeus Pinkerton (drums). This rugged power trio plays a wide variety of covers from the blues standards of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmy Hendrix, to 70s and 80s dance hits from AC/DC, Tommy Tutone, and ZZ Top. Their eclectic playlist allows them to entertain a diverse crowd.
