Welcome to the Raymond Crafts Fair of 2017!
Another year of great crafters in 2016 and to all of you, thank you! To those of you thinking of Raymond for the first time, we look forward to making new friends. We expect to continue to expand the area in which we advertise. Last year we had sandwich-board advertising, newspaper (several around the state), as well as advertising on local radio stations to include local cable access as we continue to look at ways to expand the customer base. Many of you also found us on Facebook and I am learning about other social media as well, so let your friends know. We issue multiple press releases in two groups: early for crafters and closer to the Fair date for customers.

Each year we attempt to improve the quality of the fair. To the best of our ability, we work to ensure the elimination of all non hand-made offerings and with your cooperation, we will succeed. Last year we managed to avoid having too many similar crafts (yes, unfortunately, we did turn some crafters away) and this year we plan the same. To help this, we ask crafters to please give accurate descriptions of ALL their crafts in the application and, if possible, a photo would be appreciated. The harder we all work to make the Fair successful, the better it is for everyone. The people who come to our Fair look for nice things at a fair price. High priced items, however beautiful, do not do well.
